I believe relationships can be our biggest pain point, but can also be our biggest source of growth.
At Parts of Me Therapy we try and foster a safe therapeutic environment for you to resolve these issues with your partner. Our hope is that over time you and your partner can experience the love you desire. I’ve helped couples open their hearts to each other and experience the closeness that makes life vibrant again.
Hi I’m Justin Martin and I’m an IFIO Couples Therapist in Orlando, FL.
My Approach
We use a holistic method called Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) to explore each others feelings, thoughts, and emotions. This experiential therapy works to break down the roadblocks that couples experience. Couples often wait too long to address relationship issues. By then their hearts have hardened. Intimacy From the Inside Out works towards opening back up to your partner when it feels safe to do so. It works on focusing inside each individual and creating a more peaceful interaction with yourself. Whatever comes of your relationship, you will be able to hold onto yourself and feel more peace inside with this approach. We work towards clearing out the beliefs that get you stuck about your partner and about yourself. Once this happens with both individuals, you experience the love you always wanted.
How We Start
When you book your consultation we will get a chance to know each other and see if this will be a good fit for you and your partner. Sessions are available online or in person based on which method fits your needs best. Feel free to ask me any questions about the therapeutic process or any concerns you have.
During our first session we will explore what problems you both are facing with each other, a little about your relationship history, and what you would both like for the future of your relationship.
Once we have explored these concerns we will work towards internally addressing them and then safely going to what’s at the root of the problem and embark on a healing process for both of your inner systems. When couples can both experience this, they are able to come closer together and resolve issues in a healthy way.
Orlando, FL Marriage Counseling FAQs
How will Internal Family Systems therapy help my relationship?
IFS is one of the few therapy treatments that doesn’t just look at the relationship itself but both individuals in the relationship. Rarely do we look at what’s going on within each of you as you interact with each other. As we do this exploration you may gain more insight as to why your partner stonewalls, or why they get so angry. Not only that, but you will gain a new perspective about yourself. I have found this the most helpful because it allows both individuals to make their own decisions and leave with a benefit no matter the status of the relationship.
What can I expect at the end of therapy?
At the end of treatment you will be able to regulate your emotions better and address internal and external problems in a healthier way. My clients report feeling lighter and more at peace with themselves and their anger towards their partner. They can move forward living a purposeful life and practice what they learned in therapy.

What do I need to do for our first session?
During a consultation you don’t need to do anything. It’s a no pressure meeting for us to get to know each other and see if therapy will be beneficial for you. My goal is to make this process comfortable for you because I know how intimidating it can be to seek help.
